Happy 2013 !!

Wow !  How time flies.  I have been away from crafting for quite some time now.  Have been so busy with work and family that I have been slacking in my blogging.  I hope to remedy that in 2013.   I hope your new year has been great so far.  I am making an attempt at decluttering and destashing.  Things do seem to pile up and before you know it has happened it has become a mountain.  I hope to post some pictures of the before and after soon.   I have so many new crafting goodies that I have not even had a chance to use, one of which is The Cinch (I love it!) from We R Memory Keepers!  I will post pictures and information on some of these goodies soon.  Between all the rain and the snow already this year it has been pretty dreary, but the sun is shining bright today and it is promising to be a beautiful day.   Happy crafting !  I will 'see' you again soon !

Halloween Treat Bags

Below are photos of Halloween Treat bags and Treat Buckets made with Cricut Cartridges Wild Card and A Child's Year.  Thanks to my sister for helping me with these, she made over 40 of the treat bags, wow!  I somehow neglected to get pictures of the other Treat Bucket of goodies, but it was done using witches from  A Child's Year cartridge as well. Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.

Cricut Lite Botanicals Cartridge

I recently purchased the Cricut Lite Botanicals cartridge.  It has some gorgeous plants, flowers, trees and birds on it.   I have always loved  the lone tree standing in a field when I am driving or when I travel.  There is just something about that one tree standing tall and strong all alone.  So, when I saw this tree on the Botanicals cartridge I just had to use it on a card.  The card measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.  The layer is 4 x 5 inches.  I cut the tree at 3 1/2 inches.
